Dedicated Adult Education Specialists

I’m Karine Masihi, and my work is rooted in a simple belief—that learning and healing both begin with patience and presence. Through one-on-one guidance, I help adults build confidence with technology and find ease through mindful movement.

A Lifelong Curiosity for Technology

My fascination with computers began during graduate school. In 1994, I bought our first second-hand desktop to explore this emerging world alongside my young family. What started as curiosity grew into a lifelong passion— not only for understanding technology, but for helping others adapt and thrive through it.

I left a desk job to work as an Assistant IT Technician at a middle school, repairing computers and supporting classroom networks. In 2001, after a back injury and inspired by my deep love for sharing knowledge and helping others learn I transitioned into teaching and became a Certified “Information Technology Skills” Instructor for Adults. In 2007, I earned my California Teaching Credential in Industrial Technology and Computer-Related Subjects, allowing me to teach K–12 students and Adults full-time.

A Deep Connection to Yoga and Meditation

Yoga and meditation have been part of my life since a very young age—practices that came naturally, long before I knew their names. Over time, sharing them with friends and family became second nature.

In 2019, I completed the 200-hour YogaWorks Teacher Certification, formalizing decades of personal experience. Since then, I’ve guided high school students through yoga programs, both in person and online, until my retirement in 2025.

My Teaching Philosophy

Whether guiding someone through a new piece of software or a mindful stretch, I teach with empathy, clarity, and care. Every person learns differently—my role is to honor that pace, encourage growth, and create space for confidence to emerge.

My goal is simple: to help you feel more capable, connected, and at ease in both mind and body.
